Halloween at Home

For as long as I can remember, my friends and I have always made the effort to celebrate Halloween. We love dressing up in costume, getting together for themed drinks and heading to our favourite local spots to get in to the spirit of things.

This year, we started off at my place. As well as stocking up on spirits and sweets, I made sure that the apartment was in the right mode. There was no need for anything elaborate — a few key items easily did the job.

Some of the things we went for included cut-outs of bloody footprints and handprints on the walls and floors, plastic spiders strategically placed around the rooms, inflatable bats hanging from the ceiling…It was simple, effective and good fun.
