Muller de Luxe CornerPosted: September 21, 2013
The new Muller de Luxe Corners consist of yogurt made with whipping cream; a fruity or chocolate layer and a side of crispy or biscuit bits. There are four flavours in the range but I couldn’t choose just one so I picked up Marc de Champagne and Crème Praline.
The first consists of Marc de Champagne flavoured yogurt on top of a strawberry compote layer with a side of cocoa dusted white chocolate biscuit bits. The second is a praline flavoured yogurt on top of a dark chocolate layer with a side of milk chocolate coated crispy bits.
Both of these yogurts have the most indulgent and luxurious feel about them. The consistencies are smooth and creamy, the taste is sweet and rich and the flavours are full on. I particularly loved the little hint of alcohol in Marc de Champagne and the nutty essence of Crème Praline.
They’re not exactly diet-friendly (a pot of Crème Praline has 238 calories while the Marc de Champagne has 250 calories) but they make for a really lovely treat. A pack of two 130g pots cost around €2.28 although I got mine in Tesco where they’re currently half price. Not that I need an excuse to stock up on them or anything…
