Rebelle by Rihanna

I’ve never really been a big fan of celebrity perfumes (with the exception of Victoria Beckham’s Intimately Beckham) so when I received a bottle of Rebelle by Rihanna at Christmas, I was a bit apprehensive. I immediately didn’t like the design of the bottle. It just didn’t look as attractive as the other perfumes on my dressing table. The overall red colour with the thick gold band on the cap is a little tacky and the conical shape of the bottle is a bit dull. But hey, it’s what’s inside that counts, right?

I tried it a few days later and honestly? I’ve been wearing it ever since. I love it! When you spray it on, it’s a little strong at first but once it settles on the skin, you get this beautiful warm and heady fragrance. Just like the lady herself; this perfume is sexy, sultry, exotic and distinct. The scent is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. It’s also long lasting – if I spray it on in the morning, I can still get subtle hints of it at bedtime. (Cue dreams about sunning yourself on a beach in the Caribbean!)
